    Hi Chris,
I wonder if you would kindly use your picture of Yokohama Oktoberfest for an article I am sending to a newspaper. I missed that event. Could you please reply to me as soon as possible. Appreciated it.

Hello! The closest youth hostel to Waeseda Main Campus (there are multiple campuses) from the two links you posted is the one at Yoyogi.

It will be about a 15-18 min train ride then about a 15 minute walk along the main road. Enjoy your trip to Japan!

i have another question, do you prefer any youth hostel or anything similar that is suitable for a college student? maybe something cheap and decent?

sorry if i ask too much. i have no idea where my friends can stay because i live all the way in chiba and know nothing at all about shibuya.

Youth hostels are great as they are pretty cheap. I have used them, but not in Tokyo. You shouldn’t have problems if you speak a bit of Japanese. If you are staying for more than a week, check out Sakura House. You can rent rooms from a week to as long as you want.

Rather than a link to an email address, you should use the WordPress “Contact Me” form on your site (you can see one on my “Contact” page).
